About Me
I have been working with horses since I was eleven years old. I began by taking riding lessons in exchange for working at the barn, which gave me the opportunity to work closely with many different horses. Over time, I progressed to assisting with training and eventually began teaching beginner riding lessons.
My original dream was to become a large animal veterinarian. I earned my bachelor’s degree in animal science with an equine specialization at UC Davis. During my time there, I had the privilege of working at both the UC Davis Horse Barn and the UC Davis Veterinary Teaching Hospital. While I deeply valued those experiences, I discovered a true passion for equine bodywork after seeking treatment for my own horse, who suffers from hock arthritis and navicular disease. The positive impact holistic care had on his comfort and well-being inspired me to pursue this path and help other horses in the same way.
